Located in the heart of Tel Aviv, AI21 is a leading company in language models and AI research. Our role was to decode the company’s DNA and translate it into a new workplace designed to support, inspire, and scale a team of 400 employees

Spanning 6,500 sqm in one of Tel Aviv’s most dynamic locations, just minutes from the city center and major transportation arteries, this project was conceived as a landmark workplace for one of the world’s leading language-model companies. The space reflects the frontier of artificial intelligence — where machines learn to understand, interpret, and generate human language with extraordinary precision.
Built around advanced transformer-based architectures and trained on vast datasets, the technology behind the company shapes every design decision. The workplace translates complexity into clarity, data into flow, and intelligence into experience. From focused research zones to collaborative environments, the space supports innovation at the highest level. It is more than an office — it is a platform for human–machine dialogue, designed to inspire, empower, and accelerate the future of communication.
Build for Change. Designed for Evolve
For a young, fast-growing company shaping the technologies of tomorrow, our process began with an in-depth Workplace Strategy phase. We conducted a comprehensive study of the company’s culture, workflows, ambitions, and future needs, resulting in a clear strategic document that consolidated expectations, requirements, and aspirations into a single vision.
This document became the foundation for a fully tailored planning concept — addressing complexity from the individual workstation level through departments and entire floors. The design promotes collaboration, shared environments, and fluid movement, while maintaining a high-end architectural language. The result is a workplace that is both highly functional and deeply expressive of the company’s innovative DNA

A Shared Start. A Stronger Day.
One of the central challenges was the scale and geometry of the floorplate — a vast, asymmetrical level of approximately 4,500 sqm. The planning process began with fundamental questions: How does the day begin? Where is the first coffee poured? Where does the first conversation happen? From these questions emerged the concept of placing a real coffee bar at the heart of the floor, designed as an Airstream-style food truck. Positioned as the gravitational center of the space, it became the natural point to start and end the day — a social anchor where colleagues meet, connect, or simply sit with a laptop and a great drink
